What is Zero Offset?
The hub mounting surface is even with the centerline of the wheel. Normally this offset works best for Standard Type Wheels.
What is Positive Offset?
The hub mounting surface is located in the back half of the wheel closer to the back lip flange.
This moves the wheel out away from the vehicle brakes and suspension.
This offset works best for FWD (Front-Wheel Drive) vehicles, also Some newer Rear-Wheel Drive vehicles.
What is Negative Offset?
The hub mounting surface is located in the back half of the wheel closer to the back lip flange.
This moves the wheel out away from the vehicle brakes and suspension.
This offset works best if you're buying "Deep Dish" rims, or if you want your rims to stick-out.
